Field internship under the program "Federal Practice" in the Volga Federal District

On February 18, 2021, a two-day field internship of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation under the program "Federal Practice" in the Volga Federal District, organized for representatives of regional executive authorities, the business community, and regional development institutions, started in Chuvashia.



At the beginning of the meeting, a welcome speech was read out on behalf of the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov. Also, the deputy head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia Alexey Besprozvannykh addressed the participants. In addition, the participants of the event, who gathered in the ice palace "Cheboksary-Arena", were welcomed by the Head of the Chuvash Republic Oleg Nikolaev. The head of Chuvashia added that such events contribute to the industrial and technological development of the country's economy. Their participants have a great opportunity to get first-hand specific recommendations on their areas of activity, as well as to exchange experience with colleagues. He thanked the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia for the trust placed in the region in conducting the federal internship and wished the participants fruitful work.

  

Alexey Besprozvannykh, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, took part in the opening of the plenary session via video link. He noted that this year the ministry plans to conduct similar internships in all federal districts, and it is symbolic that the first event is held in the Chuvash Republic – in the region that the Ministry of Industry and Trade personally oversees, supports its industry and economy.

  

The Penza region was directly represented by: Mikhail Torgashin, Minister of Industry and Innovation Policy of the Penza Region, Evgeny Troshin, Director of the Penza Regional Association of Business Incubators, Andrey Kuvaytsev, Director of the Penza Region Industrial Development Fund, and Sergey Tokarev, Deputy Director of the Penza Region Industrial Development Fund, Mikhail Lyashkov, General Director of the Center for Cluster Development, LLC, and Valery Bessonov, Deputy General Director for Economic Development of Technopark of High Technologies, JSC.

  

The internship program is extremely rich. In total, more than 280 representatives of various regional executive authorities, representatives of agencies and corporations for the development of the subjects of the Volga Federal District, business and industrial enterprises took part in the current "Federal Practice". Such a format of dialogue between the federal and regional authorities — on the one hand, and business-on the other — helps to take into account the views of all parties, to find affordable and practical solutions to specific or priority issues in the context of the federal district, region and enterprise-said Denis Manturov. At the seminars, participants of the internship will be able to get acquainted with the most up-to-date information about the possibilities of interaction with each industry department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia. The program also provides for thematic sessions, where the most important industry areas of the PFD industry will be discussed in detail. As part of the internship, representatives of our department and development institutions involved in our activities — the Industrial Development Fund, the Russian Export Center, the Association of Clusters and Technoparks of Russia, the Association of Industrial Parks, the Agency for Strategic Initiatives — will speak about their activities, state support measures implemented by them and other tools for the development of industrial potential, Alexey Besprozvannykh said in his opening speech. Representatives of the Department of Regional Industrial Policy and Project Management focused on the discussion of existing, created and renewable measures of state support for the industry of the regions.
