Skolkovo Vice President Yuri Saprykin highly appreciated the potential of Penza startups
The federal expert of the Skolkovo Foundation visited Penza on Tuesday, April 13.
The main purpose of his visit was to participate in a solemn event to summarize the results of the pre-acceleration program "Navigator of the innovator".
The program is aimed at the development of scientific and technological projects. Participants go through the main steps on the way to bringing their own technology startup to the market. Today, the final demo day is taking place in the Rameyev Technopark, and the results will be known in the near future.
"Navigator of the innovator" helps students, postgraduates, young scientists to orient themselves in the environment of the technology business. We pay special attention to working with the regions, because there are many good universities in the country, many promising young people who are ready to turn their ideas into high-tech businesses. Penza belongs to such regions, " said the Vice-President for Regional and International Development of the Skolkovo Foundation.
Acting Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Penza region Valery Bespalov stressed that he hopes for the success of new start-up projects. To a large extent, this will be facilitated by the skillful use of support tools, in particular, through the Bortnik Foundation and the Skolkovo Foundation.
During the visit, Yuri Saprykin got acquainted with the residents of the technopark "Rameyev" CJSC NPP "MedInzh", LLC "Prom RTC", LLC "Himprodukt", and also visited one of the leading machine – tool enterprises of the country-LLC "Stankmashstroy". All these companies are potential participants and partners of the Skolkovo Foundation, which in the future can implement joint projects with the Russian Silicon Valley.
